Southend
Panic first thing as one of the hens had scrambled through the back of the woodpile and become completely stuck. She was lucky I saw her and we had to saw a piece from the shed to free her as her body was wedged between it and the wall. She was hyperventilating and when freed she was limping but seems fine now.
It was such a lovely day here we fancied a trip out so travelled south again. A walk on Dunaverty beach where we climbed the rock at the end to take this photo looking back along it and to the village of Southend in the top right. I also put an extra of looking the other way towards Ireland, Cakes bought at Muneroys in Southend we headed round the corner to Carskiey beach for a picnic and a swim. Not such a sandy one but where the locals tend to go. Despite the warm day the water was very cold and even KK didn't go right in although probably half way.
Back home to a large salad, mostly grown in the garden, and now a peaceful evening.
