An early walk at Thirlmere while it was cool and quiet. A good decision because just after 9 o'clock we were passing a lot of cars parked between Rydal and the top of Dunmail Raise. 

It was much quieter where we were …… I think most people were heading up onto the fells before it got hot. 

I also fitted in a quick shop at Tesco, got a load of laundry washed and dried and cut the front lawn.
