After 4 Months Of Video Calls

Sushi and I, for the first time since lockdown began, braved the shops properly. We went to one of the out of town shopping centres and it was awful. It wasn’t busy and it was all set up with the COVID protective measures, but it felt so sad, the shops were empty to create the space and it almost felt like closing down sales and we got shouted at by security in the first shop as I had missed the separate entry and exit doors and was heading to the wrong one!

We spent the afternoon with friends Amanda and Mrs W and their families as Mr Kit, Neil and Mr W were all playing golf for Mr W’s 50th birthday treat. We had a lovely, if not rather warm, walk and I loved the colours of the sky and fields. It was so good to catch up and see everyone in person after 4 months of video calls.
