Floodplain

We’ve gone up into the ranges for a few days to escape the heat! Ah- winter in the tropics!

We had lunch overlooking this giant flood plain. The little green dots are trees, the grass had was dry and russet coloured.

It was all a bit arty, so I asked the Silverback what a Haiku was. Just trying to keep up my end of the conversation really.

He said:

Three lines of meaning.
As blues is to songwriting,
haiku is to rhyme!

Honestly he talks in riddles sometimes!

I just nodded and closed my eyes.
