Brightening things up

These artificial flowers are in the recently refurbished family room at the hospital. As we weren't able to go out today we spent an hour in this room. I'm pleased they've tried to brighten it up. Makes a difference and feels much less clinical.
Lots of housework and catching up with jobs in the morning and met my good friend for coffee later this afternoon. First time in a cafe but one with outdoor seating so felt OK. Her eldest son was 20 today which means we've been friends 20 years too. We used to live opposite each other both moving in before our first children were born. We had cake with the coffee to celebrate!
