Baler Boab rides again .....

Dry and sunny all day !
Baled enough grass to keep wee brother busy wrapping bales then headed down the road to bale yesterday’s winter barley straw.
A very disappointing job, only 65 5’ round bales from 30 acres, half what we get in a normal year . Mind you this was far from a normal year. It was sown in wet conditions last back end, had a wet spring then a drought all May followed by rain all July.
Back home by 5 pm then went and baled more grass for wee brother to wrap while I went and spread the rest of the field to hopefully dry out enough to bale tomorrow. Home by 9 pm so and early night !
