Beautiful arrangement?

I hope some of you might know what plant with its multi headed deep compact flowers are? Their habit looked almost like miniature teasels.
We stopped at Woodhouse and Twine on the way to Doune to see J's Mum and found an array of posies picked from the cutting garden of the shop owner for sale there. So very much more beautiful than commercially grown florist's flowers!
A day when ruminating about the past and a pervading angst about the future crept in too often around the edges of a really beautiful day.
