Knitted gnome!

Just fancied knitting something fun and a bit different, so I found this pattern on Ravelry by Sarah Schira. He's about 8 inches to the top of his hat, knitted in 4 ply sock wool on 2.5 mm needles. 

He should have polystyrene beads inside his body to make him stand nicely, but I didn't have any so opted for rice instead.
