Synchronised takeoff........

I learned something watching these birds today. We have had an enormous amount of rain over the past 12 hours. Good, solid drenching rain. Wonderful. Anyway, I heard a flock of black cockatoos arrive as I was wandering the "estate" looking for my blip. A group of about 20 birds landed in the tops of a couple of trees and spread their wings and faced into the strong wind. I swear they were hanging out to dry!! They then proceeded to groom each other. Fascinating. Then, as quickly as they arrived, they were off! This pair were the last to leave. Love them ;-))
