Seeing Beyond Looking

Watery Reflections

Another gorgeous morning, but preferable to get out early because of the promised heat later on.

Continental breakfast down by the lake this morning and I met Jean's boat coming from Evian in France. Before he came, I was able to walk along the lake and take lots of photos.   I really liked the reflections of this bright yellow boat named 'Bédju".

The extra photo is the boat Henry Dunand, named after the founder of the Red Cross.  "He was born in 1828 in Geneva and a Swiss humanitarian, businessman and social activist. He was the visionary, promoter and co-founder of the Red Cross. In 1901 he received the first Nobel Peace Prize together with Frédéric Passy, making Dunant the first Swiss Nobel laureate."

It only took me twenty minutes to get down to the lake this morning. No waiting time for the bus nor the metro!

I hope that everyone is having a beautiful Sunday.

Heatwave update:
We are experiencing five days of high temperatures in the thirties and then the August storms will start around the middle of the month. They often break heatwave conditions.
