Creek Rising

I think it's some sort of blip anniversary for me today (don't even know which) but I forgot till I was about to post so this is a rehash of a familiar scene.

I walked down to the creek this afternoon to check the water height. It wasn't up much but raining steadily so we decided to house hop again in case we couldn't get out in the morning. 
Mr isbi is speaking at Eddie's funeral so it wouldn't be too good if we didn't get there.

We had a rushed dinner and packed up and by the time we left it had risen quite a bit so was a good decision.
When we got to Blackheath we found it had been snowing earlier but now raining and very slushy.
