Clarabelle the Clam
A very cloudy and humid day here at the North Norfolk Arena and Clarabelle the Clam in is a quandary! (try saying that with the teeth out!)
She has put her name down for the Jumping into the Briny competition but her nerves appear to be getting the the better of her in this photo.
Our intrepid photographer was out early this morning to catch this unique and historical photo of Clarabelle (not her real name, this is unknown as she is the creation of Mel Ashcroft along with Olivia seen here on day one of the games)
These conditions are murky and challenging for these clams who are used to a brighter seas and skies. In this photo we can see Clarabelle being coached by Clark and Kent (again, not their real names as above :)) her two teammates who have (smugly) completed their jumps. I bet they were always chosen for teams in PE at school!
Unfortunately I had to leave the Games early today so, if any of you have any updates please put them in the comments below and we will update the Leader Board.
I did, however get a photo of the building housing these sea creatures and have put it in extras as part of Derelict Sunday for this week. Thank you to Marlieske for hosting.
Thank you for dropping by and for your comments etc. All gratefully received as always.
