SCALLOP

No trip to Aldeburgh is ever complete without a walk along the shingle to see 'Maggi's Shell'. I've just noticed that this year is the 10th anniversary of Scallop - which Maggi Hambling created as a tribute to Benjamin Britten.
The sculpture is an exciting landmark; a jewel to discover, lay hands on and explore.
And photograph of course - endlessly.
