Shipley Windmill

Visited my friend Paul in West Sussex today. On the way home I went to Shipley Windmill. It is a fòur-storey smock mill  and was built in 1879 at a cost of £2,500.
In 1906 it was bought by the writer Hilaire Billoc who lived in the village. He owned it until his death in 1953.
It was used as the filming location for the BBC's Jonathan Creek.
Sadly it's been closed to the public since 2009.
