Youngest child turned 16 today.
I have no idea where time has gone.
16 years ago, our family became complete with the rapid arrival of our daughter. The on-call midwife didn't get to the house on time but an error at the hospital meant that another local midwife arrived and quickly sussed out that things were progressing rapidly.
The birthing pool was full, I wasn;t convinced that I was in labour.
Minutes later our amazing daughter made her grand entrance.
I never made it into the pool but her big brothers had great fun playing in it in the morning.
Who could have guessed that her 16th birthday would be under pandemic restrictions?
