Day 5 in Courchevel

Backblip: Even though it was snowy, wet, and gray all week and we finally had a day of sunshine I didn't go skiing on the last day because, thanks to several of the children, I got sick and couldn't ski. I ended up staying in the chalet with a group of 12 students, all of whom had either vomited, had fevers, coughing and sore throats--you name it, we got it. A pleasant bunch we were, all either sleeping, watching movies, playing cards when we had the energy, but generally chilling out and being miserable. I never actually arrived at sleeping because I had to make sure all was well with the children, plus it was hurting to breathe. Because this was the first sunny day of the week, it was the first time we had seen the actual view from our bedroom window! That is actually Champagny, where we normally go skiing. Spencer went out with the other chaperones and filmed on the Gopro...I definitely missed out on a good day, perhaps the best of the season. But there will be other good days to come.
