Miniature Forest

This afternoon our Monday Photography group met at the Botanical Gardens Hothouse with the idea of doing macro photography....and that we did.  These little shoots were attached to the trunk of a a punga fern. I just loved them and seen through the macro they have these amazing little heads.  These are very tiny and were taken with the 60mm plus a 31mm extension tube.

Another scorcher (for this time of our year) 19° outside, and even hotter in the hothouse.  Crazy warmth for this time of the year, Doug and I sat outside until the sun set, just like summer.
