50 years and still going strong!
Up in Glasgow this evening to celebrate Simon's half century. We go back 30 years when a young, articulate, creative talent joined Unit One Theatre Company, which staged successful productions of John Byrne's Slab Boys trilogy and other plays at the Mitchell Theatre and other venues around greater Glasgow. Simon played a convincing 'Plooky Jack', thanks to the revolting wonders of make-up. Actor, director, writer, family man, colleague and friend - he's just the same character, only wiser and more accomplished, currently a director at the National Theatre of Scotland. Great to see everyone again and reminisce about good times.
