Bridge

Some time ago, Jacqui kindly gave us an awning that she no longer needs. It's a tent extension for the back of a vehicle, and she thought it might fit ours. But our car is kept on the road, so we needed to take it to a grassy area to try out said awning. We had intended to do it in March when the weather improved, but then 'lockdown' happened. At last - we decided that today was the day, and drove out to the Ingram Valley. Removed the awning from its bag, only to discover that mice had been busy, and there were big holes in it. Huge holes, in fact - far too big too repair. Rude words were uttered!
The plan is to sleep in the car during festivals assuming that there are any..., and maybe for the occasional 'budget' night away, so I shall be on the look out for another suitable awning...
