Having been alerted by a fellow Blipper to new murals appearing at the Clutha Bar in Glasgow, I made it a priority to go into town and see them first-hand when the opportunity arose. Sunday was that day.
My first trip on a train in some considerable time, and my first journey into Glasgow since 28th February, and I was not disappointed.
Taking advantage of the fine weather, I made a circular walk out of it, heading first up to and then along Sauchiehall Street as far as Charing Cross. Then down onto the Clyde Walkway, from where I zig-zagged my way over several bridges (just because I could!) finishing up at the Clutha Bar itself, where today's Blip (and several other photos!) were taken.
The new murals are quite different in style to their predecessors and are still a work-in-progress with at least one still being painted. Back up to Queen Street to catch the train home. A good afternoon out it was too.
