Stationery & Stationary

Stationery: writing and other office materials, such as this notebook and pen we are packaging up in my Skechers box to send to daughter#2 in France. Look away now daughter#2 if you are reading this, though it's not exactly spoiling the surprise as they were on your comprehensive birthday list.

Stationary: not moving, incapable of being moved as in the case of the FIL after the social services visit this morning.  As I expected he refused to consider even a short respite break to a care home, and social services consider he is not in sufficient danger to justify a forced move. We haven't seen him for months now and apparently his beard is extremely long.

Oh well.
