Cosmos.

This plant was given to me by my neighbour as a seedling with many other Cosmos seedlings. I had to resort to the internet  for identification purposes as it is entirely different from the others both in terms of flower and type of leaf, although the height is similar. That it is a Cosmos was confirmed, and in view of the striking flower will have to try and save some seed.
