A bit of sunshine

It's been a little trying so far today. A bit murky, drizzly, grey and foggy outside, too cold and muddy for rhubarbing and I've decided that the urban myth about people getting out of bed the wrong side may well be true. I was also slightly unfizzed to find Mr H is not appreciative of hearing about my dreams....it's the way I tell 'em. I suspect writing them down may be better than trying to verbalise 'the land of chocolate' when I am still bleary eyed in the morning :-)

Highlight of the day was chips and omlette for breakfast/lunch in a local cafe which appears to be run by 2 friendly Cuban ladies (following yesterday's public information blip it's a 5 star hygiene rating before you ask!!!) This yellow rose was unfolding beautifully spurred on with age. It was located in an understated stubby red vase on the table- very photogenic I thought.

Today I will mostly be vegging, doing a bit of admin stuff and maybe some study....no pressure today!!
