LD 140. Marram grass and the dunes.

Short path through the dunes to the beach. They’ve done some stabilisation work further along to slow down coastal erosion. We walked to the north end of the beach until once again we were the only folks there. A blue sky, breezy walk. On the way back we spoke to the lad at the land yachts (photo on 7 August 2020); and he explained how they’re “sailed” on the sand.

A bit sociable today! Spoke to several of our neighbours!

Family FaceTime - the teachers in the family chatted about their first day back in school and new arrangements and systems of work. Also discussed the rethink by the Scottish Government on Exam Grades and the local Lockdown in Aberdeen; 18 of today’s 29 reported new coronavirus cases were in Grampian. Zero deaths again.
