The passage of time seems a complex thing , I should have so much more time yet it flows away rapidly leaving a pile of unfinished jobs .
Managed to do a bit on the garden , some tidying and sorting , a walk up to Darwen Tower , see photo  and then a brew with Our daughter and grandson . 
Finished the day with a delightfully lengthy FaceTime catch up with our youngest son and his partner . 
The sun shone for most of the day too which was a bonus .
