Monday walk

Collected my friend Susan en route to our planned walk start point - didn’t make sense to take 2 cars.

We walked over Cramond Brig down to Cramond and along the promenade at Silverknowes and back again. A brief stop for some soup at a cafe in the village itself was quite enjoyable in the open air.

I nipped into the shopping sceptre to try and get a present for young Mr PHL’s birthday this coming Saturday but didn’t find a lot to inspire me. Still don’t understand why the general public find it so difficult to follow arrows directing them to allow good social distancing. Luckily it wasn’t too busy so I could avoid most people.

Home for a wee while before Miss PHL dragged me out again to the craft store. She had a notion to knit a blanket for the new puppy so we needed to buy some wool. She also wanted to buy card and writing implements to make a card for her brothers birthday as the one she likes is over five pounds!!

Purchases made, back home to furnish her with the baby blanket pattern I used earlier this year - just the right size for a puppy.
