First job

Today was solo day - I was unleashed upon the country of Yorkshire as the Duty Air Ambulance pilot.

Fortunately, the weather was perfect, if rather warm. That made navigation pretty straightforward, although a good lookout was required to spot all the small aircraft that were out and about!

First job was to a road traffic accident, and unusually we took a casualty to Hull Royal Infirmary. Unusually, we were joined by the Lincs Air Ambulance, and I had a pleasant time chatting to the crew for an hour while waiting for the Yorkshire paramedics and doctor to return.
