Dog Memorial

We’ve got the motorhome parked up near a lovely creek and parklands which is one of the main ‘dog off lead’ recreation areas for Cairns, Qld.

On our walk this morning we came across this memorial tree where dog owners have pinned photos of departed pets. There were even some collars with tags on the tree. It was quite moving.

The light was terrible, but couldn’t resist the photo! Managed to cut some of the glare out - maybe it was all the ghosts!
