Garstang High Street

The pretty market town of Garstang, Wyre, nestles at the foothills of the scenic Forest of Bowland where we live.

It became the world's first Fairtrade Town, meaning that all local businesses and the local council pledged to use and promote Fairtrade products when reasonably practicable.

Garstang is the place where we do most of our local shopping and on the way back from taking Oscar to the boarding kennels, I took this photo of its lovely High Street which seemed very quiet for a Saturday afternoon.
