The Plateau...

with mist rolling along the Spey from the viewpoint early this morning. The forecast was not good but once the mist cleared it was another hot sunny day. There are some very tall Pines at this stance and ripe cones kept dropping on my head and all around. Looked up to see the Crossbills enjoying a feast. There are always lots of them here. 
Decided to put one in the extra. Bullfinches and Wrens showed themselves on the way down.
The Bees and Butterflies were all very active also.
