Peacock

Another scorcher developed today which has limited jobs.  I filled the feeders and fed the plant pots and window boxes then caught up with my Czech practice which I've neglected in lockdown.  After lunch I mowed the grass which takes me an hour and boy was it hot.  Afterwards I sheltered under the elder tree and Tony brought out the last two magnums, very welcome!

I took a break to wander up the lane to blip the butterflies on a neighbour's buddleia, there were lots of them but all peacocks and red admirals today.

And a bat flew in to the living room whilst we were watching tv last night! Good job we managed to persuade it out again before Line of Duty began!
