Hathersage Moor

TUESDAY Staycation Day #4

A 9 km walk with Prue Harriet and George starting from Grindleford Station up through the stunning wooded valley of Padley Gorge and then over the open Hathersage Moor.

Lots of butterflies (I have still to identify the one in the extra - any assistance welcomed) and the odd lizard.

It was baking hot on top of the moor.

Finished back at Grindleford Station cafe where we took advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme for our lunch.

14,000 steps so far.
