Hotter as the day progressed today...

...so not much done beyond garden pottering...
The little green apples are doing well now - some of them split when the ground was waterlogged, but the rest seem to have recovered. 
Coffee and crossword on Skype this a.m., and an Escapees catch up this aft, and the towels dried beautifully - in fact, not so much dried as desiccated...
