Field of Gold by Abernethy Kirk
One of several fields in the area which have been sown with wildflowers which should be beneficial to insects in addition to looking spectacular. The border is chiefly corn marigold interspersed with jewel-like cornflowers, corncockle, chamomile, poppies, fumitory and phacillia.
In these grim days the fields gladden the heart.
