It’s not so bad after all. My heart was heavy as I switched my computer on first thing but it’s hard to feel moody once you get chatting to nice colleagues and sharing holiday stories. Antony recreated a splash pool in the garden for the children and put the hammock up - I’ll add an extra. And then the children insisted I take them to the peace bench. And then the bendy tree. And then the river. They were gloriously giddy and up far too late.

Gratefuls:

1. Eve telling me I’d improved her week by making a few little plans;
2. Antony cleaning out our green bin - an act of true love;
3. A beautiful walk with exceptional company.
