One man's treasure is another man's trash

Last night was awesome. Lots of my friends came out to celebrate my 30th in a superb local pub, and much fun was had by all. By rights I should be very hungover today, but weirdly I'm not!

Simon and I wandered into town to take a walk around the quay, as per my special birthday request. I found out that the local council has arranged for a lot of graffiti artists to come and decorate the subways and concrete walls around the river! A lot of the newer work is really gorgeous. This shot is of an area that is a blend of the old artwork with newer stuff over the top of it.

There's one wall that is decorated with art inspired by the designs of local schoolkids, which I think is really progressive and a fantastic community project. However at night it looks bloody creepy.
