5 am ......

...... Sunrise!
This was a quick snap from my front door , really too hot to sleep and another steamy day ahead. The ground is crying out for water , all the plants I renewed a few days ago have just wilted/ died or been eaten by the snails / slugs ( I thought it was too dry for either of these , but they still seem to nibble my plants!) The birds seem to be few and far between too, I think the heat is getting to us all whatever the species!
I'm supposed to be seeing a friend today but what we will eventually end up doing I'm not sure.
