Since kayaking I picked up a strong head cold. In accordance with the rules right now that has meant that I have been staying put at home. I've found that particularly hard to do as I'm not too close to my housemates and am on my own on the other side of the world.

Today I felt well enough that it was acceptable to go outside my friends were going kayaking so I joined them. It was great to get some more kayaking in.

Still in a low mood however, I think the self-imposed isolation has highlighted how socially fragile my life is in Perth.
