Meet Flan!
Here he is!
Our little wriggler. Today we had the 20 week anomaly scan; a chance for us to take a peek at Flan, and for the sonographer to count up all the bits and check that everything is developing normally. So far so good - everything appears to be present and correct, we were able to see into his heart and watch all four chambers pumping - AMAZING! At one point as we watched, he flexed his hand and turned to face us - it was spookily like he was waving to us! It really is fascinating to actually see the movements especially now I can feel them as well.
His femur measurements came up a bit small, but both N and I were small babies so this shouldn't be a problem. We may be asked to go back for a re-scan to check the measurements later (he was very wriggly during the scan).
We could not tell if Flan is a boy or girl so I will continue to refer to 'him' - just because its easier :)
Mum has come over to visit for the weekend, which is lovely, so she can see the pics first this time!
