Textures

I've been trimming some branches off a fir tree - it's had a reprieve from the chopper - and placed the first one on a brick to cut it in half.  I noticed the fragile lichen, the smooth resin filled blisters and the rough cut marks on the hand made brick.  That's nice, I thought, it'll make an attractive Blip.

In other news:  shortly after taking this pic I sat back on my gardener's stool and fell over backwards, arse over tit, base over apex and landed downhill in a heap in the dirt.  "Well flipping heck", I whispered, so the neighbours wouldn't hear then picked myself up, sucked in through my teeth and went into the garage for a little weep.
