Ullswater

After a terrible night sleep due to Arthur waking up every 15 minutes and me being ill with a stomach bug we struggled over the Ullswater. It was beautiful although I really struggled. We walked from Glenridding around the Ullswater way for a bit then found a lovely bit of dappled shade under a tree in a flower filled meadow overlooking the lake for a picnic. Then back to the cottage for a nap.

This afternoon we wandered into town in the rain and bought fish and chips from the Old Keswickian. I couldn't decide whether it was a good idea to eat but ate anyway and now feeling absolutely exhausted. Early night is in order.
