Gardening

It was ridiculously hot again. I thought at first the weather had broken. It rained in the night, and when I got up in the morning it was relatively cool. Admittedly I was up and washed by 6am. The daily routine of sleep is almost impossible to break. 

I did some more cleaning, and then went into the garden. I cleaned down the garden furniture, strimmed some of the edges (need to replace the strimmer line now) and then topped out the birch tree, taking it back to 6 feet high.  Its amazing how exhausting that can be!

Now relaxing with a glass of wine...
