What a strange day.
We were woken at 5am by the loudest thunder storm I’ve heard in a long time. It lasted for hours. K was up at 7am to get ready for her first day back to school. Unfortunately, just as she was all ready to go it was announced that the school was staying closed. A lot of the roads in and around Stonehaven were flooded, making travel difficult.
Then we heard the news of the train derailment just outside Stonehaven, sadly 3 people have died. It’s such a sad state of affairs.
