Black headed gull

Although the forecast has been for rain and thunderstorms today, we haven’t had any yet. We took ourselves off to the beach mid afternoon and it was just us and the gulls. Mostly we have herring gulls here but there were a few black headed gulls around. Not the clearest of shots on my phone. It was very pleasant in the sea, so much so that I went in for a second dip. The water seems to have warmed up since we were last there on Sunday.
