Quite a day. I rose to the sound of thunder and driving rain. I breakfasted to the sound of water dripping through our kitchen ceiling. By mid morning came the news of the dreadful Stonehaven train wreck and likely casualties. Lunchtime brought confirmation that our Aberdeen Lockdown must continue for a while in the face of the rising number of infections. But we finished the afternoon with a visit to our neighbour's lovely garden and we will take solace from that and their friendship.
