Black Water

Our survey at this lovely location concluded today. For context the extra is looking the other way to the dam. It is almost 1 km long and only half of it is in frame. Beyond the dam you see the eastern end of the Mamore mountain range. If you look through the gaps in the Mamores you get glimpses of hills seen from Roy Bridge and I know for a fact that Black Water is visible from the Grey Corries. I suppose the point I am making is that once you recognise the hills from different angles you realise that places that are hours distant by road in the Highlands are still quite close to one another
