Red squirrel

There have been quite a few sightings of red squirrels around the village. Today this one run along our side wall up the garden and into this tree. Unfortunately not the best photo but I didn't want to get too close and scare it off. It was very entertaining for a few minutes.
Not a lot else done today as it was far too hot for any physical work in the garden. I'd also had a fall up our concrete steps yesterday. Luckily no permanent damage just some bumps and bruises and a bit sore today.
Barry finished putting in the raspberry canes that have been sitting in the water butt since the weekend, courtesy of a neighbour who helps people with their gardens and had been tasked to remove them. More fruit for picking and prepping next year! I do love raspberries so that won't seem like a chore!
