Wren In the Back Yard

Funny birds, wrens. In early summer, they really sing, so melodious, more songs than the rest of their bird brethren. But in the late summer, they have a little chatter, that's all. I watched their activity in a flurry this afternoon, this one perching on the arm of a wicker chair. My favorite summer singer, by far, is the wren.
