Beside the River....

It was a lovely morning for an early walk. Frosty but with the promise of a sunny day. Both Maisie and I enjoy meeting up with other dogs and their owners. Maisie very naughtily got into the river and chased some ducks for quite a distance. The river levels have dropped considerably and the environs are very pretty.
I would normally not scramble down to the river’s edge at this particular spot. I accompanied a dog walker friend who had to chase after a dog in her care who had “done a runner”. The dog, a very active poodle cross, had taken off across the river and into the extensive “Pony Club Grounds” where rabbits abound. It took quite some time for my friend and husband to retrieve the runaway.
