Unplugged

today was set aside for Fat Tuesday : Unplugged. A great idea which saw music played at the usual and unusual venues. Music of the unplugged variety can present challenges for the modern empowered musician. The local* musicians rose to that challenge today and it was great to see Blair with a Tea Chest Bass and a Conga/Flute/Percussion/Drums Combo at Black Pearl.

This interesting group were playing on the festival fringe. They looked marvelous but the sound was a bit of an acquired taste.
